We ordered this wallet to replace an identical one (brand and style) we bought two years ago. My husband does not like any other style of wallet and it's very hard to find one with this precise configuration.
A few notes about the pictures: The black version of the wallet looks greyish-brown in the picture, but it is a true black wallet. I don't know if the lighting was bad when they took that picture or if it's of another color - but the black wallet IS the shade of black you would expect it to be.
Also not clear in the pictures - the plastic window for your drivers license is on the back of the left side of the opened wallet. So if you're having trouble imagining the configuration, look at the image in which the wallet is fully opened. If you fold it in half on the horizontal, you'd see the plastic window... then you fold down the top vertical flap and you have a closed wallet with all of your cards, cash and license on the inside.
This is the third time we've bought this particular brand/style - it lasts on average about 2 years before the card slots become too loose to really hold the cards securely and the leather becomes very worn. Given what my husband puts his wallet through, we consider 2 years an acceptable life-span for a wallet at this price.
